Paving Site Online Technical Library | Professional Paving Education & Standards
Since starting the Paving Site Online Technical Library resource last year, we have built up a number of articles that may fairly be described as Technical, written by some of the finest experts in the world of paving and hard surfaces.
These articles have grown out of the natural expansion of the Online content, creating a unique insight into the reasons for making recommendations and logic behind formal standards of working methods and recommendations.
Avoiding laboratory tested scientific content, which should ideally be used primarily for bespoke situations, the Paving Site Online Technical articles are stand-alone educational resources, invaluable to those landscapers and paving contractors who seek further information and clarity when training staff or producing specification.
Mostly written in an informal manner, each featured article is complete, and should hopefully answer any questions the reader may have, and the logic behind all recommendations and advice. For example;
- Bifold Doors and Flush Transitions – Weather Proofing, Drainage and UK Compliance.
- Lime – The backbone of Construction.
- Gravel Stabilisation – a Review to Understanding Grid Design and Materials.
- Concrete Permeable Block Paving in Domestic Applications.
- Paving and Building Regulations in the UK.
- Introducing Resin Bound Paving.
- Permeable Bedding Mortar; British Standards Recommended for External Paving.
As Paving Site Online Sponsors, you are very welcome to add any technically written essays or information sheets you provide to your customers.
Each author will be included in the Guest Authors section, with direct links to your website, with the name of the expert clearly shown.
